HOW DO I ORDER?
At the checkout, you need to give us a valid glasses prescription (make sure it’s not for contacts!). You’ll
also be given the option to email it later, or to re-use a prescription you uploaded for a previous order.
After you've placed your order, we may be in touch to request your pupillary distance (PD). Your PD is the
distance in millimetres between your pupils, which helps us centre the lenses correctly in your frames.
If your optometrist didn’t include this on your prescription, don’t worry – we have our own remote
measurement tools. Or, depending on your prescription, we may be able to use our standard PD.
CAN I CHANGE MY ORDER?
We start processing orders quickly, but we’ll do our best to accommodate any changes. The quickest way to
change or cancel an order is to call +44 (0)203 936 2623, use the chat or
email love@bloobloom.com . We’re available by phone and chat Monday
to Friday, 9am to 6pm (UK time).

HOW DOES HOME TRY ON WORK?
Our Home Try On allows you to pick 5 frames from our website and try them on at home (or anywhere else) over
a period of 5 days before returning them to us. The whole process costs nothing (shipping is free both ways)
and there’s no obligation to buy. Please note this service is currently only available in the UK.

CAN I KEEP THE FRAMES I LIKE FROM THE HOME TRY ON CASE?
No, please return all the frames. If you find a pair you like, simply place an order on our website and
we’ll send you a shiny new pair fitted with your prescription.
WHY DO YOU NEED MY CARD DETAILS IF HOME TRY ON IS FREE?
Rest assured, Home Try On IS free. During checkout, you’ll be asked to provide a valid credit or debit card
before completing your order. We only need these details for security purposes and we don’t take a deposit.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T RETURN MY HOME TRY ON?
If you don’t return all the trial frames, or if you return any frames damaged, we’ll need to charge the card
on file £99.00 for each missing or damaged frame.
To avoid this charge, just drop off your Home Try On at any Post Office by the fifth full day after
delivery. (We’ll email you a reminder so you don’t forget.)
If your Home Try On period ends during a weekend or holiday, you can drop it off at the Post Office on the
next available day. And if you need some extra time, please get in touch and we’ll work something out.
CAN I ORDER MORE THAN ONE HOME TRY ON? Absolutely – we want you to find the frames of your dreams!
Please note, we send Home Try On orders one at a time. So if you're already sampling a few frames from an
existing Home Try On, we’ll wait to receive them back before we ship your next Home Try On box.
CAN I ORDER SUNGLASSES FOR A HOME TRY ON? No, the Home Try On service doesn’t include sunglasses.
WILL MY HOME TRY ON FRAMES HAVE MY LENS PRESCRIPTION?
No, the Home Try On frames are fitted with non-prescription lenses. HOW DO I RETURN MY HOME TRY ON? It’s very easy. Here’s how:
- Pack the Home Try On case with all the trial frames
- Place the case in the same cardboard shipping box it arrived in and seal using the self-seal strip
- Stick the enclosed shipping label to the box, on top of the original address label
- Drop it off at any Post Office or have it collected by Royal Mail

WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY ORDER?
Once your order is complete (and we have your prescription and PD) we aim to dispatch it within 3 to 5
working days. Some orders (such as varifocals) will require custom made lenses which we aim to dispatch in 5
to 10 working days. Please feel free to contact our Customer Service team via chat, phone or email for
individual estimations.
UK orders are shipped using a Tracked 48Hr delivery service. International orders are shipped using a global
express courier.

HOW DO I GET A PRESCRIPTION?
Have an eye test with any qualified optometrist and they will provide you with a copy of your prescription.
If they don’t, make sure you ask them!
HOW CAN I SEND YOU MY PRESCRIPTION? During checkout, we will give you three options:
- Upload an image of your prescription (take a photo or scan it)
- Re-use a prescription you uploaded for a previous order
- Email it to us at love@bloobloom.com
- Sphere (SPH) value above -8.00 and +6.00
- Cylinder (CYL) value above -4.00 and +4.00
- Combined SPH and CYL above +/-8.00
LENSES
WHAT TYPE OF LENSES DO YOU OFFER?
We can cover all prescriptions including single vision and varifocal lenses. When adding lenses to your
cart, high-index (thinner) lenses might be recommended for your prescription. However, 1.74 index or custom
lenses are required for prescriptions with a:

- Sphere (SPH) value above -8.00 and +6.00
- Cylinder (CYL) value above -4.00 and +4.00

- Rinse them in lukewarm water to remove any dust.
- Add mild washing-up liquid to the water and rinse again.
- Dry them gently (never rub hard) using your boobloom microfibre cloth. For light smudges, the cleansing cloth alone usually does the trick.
FIT
HOW CAN I GET MY FRAMES ADJUSTED?
It’s important that your frames fit well, both for comfort and correct vision. The following adjustments are
simple to make:
- The frame is too tight or loose behind your ears
- The temples are too long or too short
- The temples are too tight or loose at the side of your face
- The frame is crooked or slides down your nose

WHAT IS PAY WHAT YOU CAN?
Because two bloomies are even better than one, you can now choose the price of your second pair of
spectacles or sunglasses. Any pair. Yep, you get to choose.
For each PWYC item, we offer three different prices to choose from and we explain exactly what each price
option covers. The cheapest price covers our basic production costs – the other prices go towards
development and contribute to our
Pair for Pair programme .
HOW DO I ACCESS IT?
Simply select the lens options for your second pair, then at the final step you choose the price and add to
your cart. Pay What You Can is only available if both pairs are purchased at the same time.
WHY ARE YOU DOING IT?
Many of you already buy more than one pair of glasses from us. For those who don’t, it’s usually because
they cannot afford it. Offering the chance to buy our glasses at a lower price makes them affordable to more
people. And this has been our mission since Day 1: to offer high-end designer eyewear at an affordable
price.
bloobloom is obviously for profit. And Pay What You Can is good for us too. It lets us have faster inventory
turnover and helps us put more resources into developing new products for you to love. It also gives us the
opportunity to explain what our mark-ups mean and this level of transparency is at the core of our values.

WHAT IS THE RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY FOR PWYC ITEMS?
It remains exactly the same for all our glasses! We have a 30-day hassle-free return or exchange policy. If
you’re not totally satisfied with your purchase, we’re happy to refund in full or exchange any item within
30 days of receipt. Refunds are credited via your original payment method.
Also, all our frames and lenses have a 2-year manufacturer's guarantee. So we'll gladly replace your lenses
or frames for free within 2 years of purchase if they are found to have a manufacturing defect. Accidental
damage and general wear and tear are not covered by this guarantee.
Return shipping is always free within the UK. If you’re sending from anywhere else, you can
choose your preferred courier service as you are responsible for any return shipping fees.
